Our PCCs have agreed the following areas as priorities for our activity.
To invest in our own worship and spirituality We want to be a confident worshipping community, and to nurture our own faith journeys so that we can share the love of God appropriately and well. We are mindful of the need to create safe space where people can explore faith and voice doubts and questions.
To develop our inclusive compassionate community We recognise the importance of inclusion in our welcome, nurture and facilities, and are aware of the need to be creative in working together with St Peter’s Wolvercote to create worship and community events that appeal to different ages and sectors of the community.
To be a known centre for community life and to provide loving service to that community We are proud of how rooted our church is in village life. As we keep our church open during the day, we are mindful of how we can use this for mission and create the most welcoming space possible with appropriate resources available.
We are aware of the crucial role of maintenace, fabric and finance to help to keep our church a beautiful space and vibrant community and our stewardship of finance and resources remains a key focus to ensure we can continue to fund all aspects of our church life.
